Synopsis

trend detection has always been planned as a built-in analysis tool/signal-gen inside our base FSP set:

Some (much?) WIP on possible future sub-sys tech for piker is in our private research repo which is shared with core contributors and/or sponsors depending on intent.

Existing techniques/research

though there are some papers on various detection/classification techniques the most interesting are those that we can test via existing FOSS impls, like:
