TO-CHERRY: Error on `breakpoint()` without `debug_mode=True`?
Not sure if this is a good tactic (yet) but it at least covers us from getting user's confused by `breakpoint()` usage causing REPL clobbering. Always set an explicit rte raising breakpoint hook such that the user realizes they can't use `.pause_from_sync()` without enabling debug mode. ** CHERRY-PICK into `pause_from_sync_w_greenback` branch! **runtime_to_msgspec
